No. Party Box DIY is a pickup-based rental program, so setup and breakdown are handled by you. Delivery within the Birmingham area is available for a $50 fee. Locations outside this area may be subject to additional delivery charges.
All rentals are picked up on Thursdays and returned on Mondays, giving you the full weekend to set up, celebrate, and break down. Holiday schedules or special circumstances may occasionally adjust these dates.
We’re happy to work with you on alternate pickup and return times when possible. There’s no charge if your adjusted timing is shorter than the standard rental window. Additional days beyond the normal timeframe may be subject to extra rental fees.
Yes. A $50 credit card security deposit hold is required to secure your rental. This deposit is held as protection in case equipment is returned damaged, excessively dirty, missing parts, or not returned. If all items are returned in good working condition, the deposit will be fully refunded within 5–10 business days after the return inspection.
If the booking is cancelled 21 days or more before the scheduled event, the deposit will be fully refunded.
If the booking is cancelled between 15 and 20 days before the scheduled event, 50% of the deposit will be refunded.
If the booking is cancelled within 14 days of the scheduled event, the deposit will be non-refundable.
When we receive a deposit, it tells us at Party Box DIY “we want the party box” therefore the party box is taken out of our inventory for that day and cannot be re-rented.
Find out the dimensions of your space and make sure the equipment you are renting will fit your space.
Keep in mind what the power requirements of your rental are. Some of the items we carry require electricity to run. Make sure you have a power outlet that is easily accessible. Power cords should not be longer than 50 feet.
Accepted payment methods include credit card, debit card, and other methods agreed upon in writing by the Company.
Payment for the rental fee must be made in full 3 days prior to the delivery of the Equipment. Applicable taxes and additional fees, if any, will be disclosed at the time of booking and included in the final invoice. Any unpaid balance after the due date will incur a late fee of 1.5% per month or the maximum allowed by law.
